1. First Time Shoppers
Please read the following sections to help you with your shopping experience and to ensure the best quality product from your photo as possible.

2. Submitting Your Photos
You can upload your photos directly from your account. After placing an order you’ll be shown how to upload it.
You can also email them to us if you prefer at: orders@magicportrait.com.
Or you can send your photo by regular mail: Magic Portrait 637 B #302, South Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305.
Keep in mind that good photos will help us make your portrait truly incredible.

3. How does it work?
Take a look at before and after images and decide which style is right for you. Below every selection you’ll see “View Larger” button so you’ll be able to study each style in detail. You will receive a design proof before we'll send out your portrait to guarantee your satisfaction. You can upload a digital photo or send it.

4. How do I proof my design?
Within 3-5 business days of receiving your photo/s your design proof will be available on your account for your approval or modifications. You will be able to view your proof/s by visiting the "My Proofs" section under My Account. You may ask for any color changes and reasonable design changes for no additional fee as long as we keep working on the same photo in the same design style. If you ask for any changes you will receive another design proof in 1-2 business days. Your satisfaction is our number one guarantee.

5. What’s the best photo to use?
The photos that work best have the following characteristics:
- Sharp. Good photos are sharp and are in focus, blurry photos make it hard for us to see details in the subject.
- Good lighting, better when the light comes from the back of the photographer and it's facing the subject. Also, try to avoid dark shadows in the face of the subject.
We recommend that you will send us photos that were taken indoors - as photos taken outside tend to have contrasting shadows that don't yield nice results.
- Good contrast and brightness. Make sure the photo is not under exposed (too dark) or over exposed (too bright or too white).
- In order to make the best portrait out of your photo/s, we highly recommend that you send us a good quality picture.
For Magic PopArt - the face of the person in the photo should be clear, big enough and close to the lense of the camera.
For Magic Portrait - it’s important to show the whole subject in the photo.
For Magic Masters and Art Effects Photos – follow the basic guidelines outlined above for general good quality photos.

6. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee
If the final portrait you received is different from what you approved online or if you are not completely satisfied with our craftsmanship, just send the portrait back to us within 7 days and we will redo it with the same design at no charge. If your order is damaged in transit, please keep the packaging and its contents and contact us immediately. We will ship a new package to you and have the courier company pickup the damaged order. If the package is lost by the freight carrier we will ship you a new portrait immediately at no charge.

7. The materials we print on
Our Materials: Luster Prints, Fine Art Paper, Canvas, and Canvas Gallery Wrap Our Premium Luster Paper is a high quality, semi-gloss paper with a 10 mil. thickness for a durable photographic feel and vivid color reproduction. Our Fine Art Paper is a heavy archival mat finished paper. Our printable canvas is a textured, stretchable semi-gloss canvas, which gives the look and feel of a traditional painted masterpiece. Each print will come rolled in a tube, unless stretching is ordered (Gallery Wrap Canvas), in which case it will be shipped in a box. A Gallery Wrap canvas is wrapped on thick 1.5” stretcher bars and is ready to hang on the wall, no framing is needed.

9. Shipping
When will my order be delivered?
From the day we receive your photo and it is approved to be put in process it'll take approximately 7-10 business days to complete the entire order. If you need to place a rush order, please see the section below.
Within 3-5 business days of receiving your photo/s we will e-mail you a proof for your approval or modifications. We will not complete your portrait until you give us the go ahead. Your satisfaction is our number one guarantee.
After we receive your approval your portrait will ship in approximately 1-2 business days. You will be notified by email once it ships and you will receive a tracking number. If you need to place a rush order, please see the section below.
The duration of the process also depends on how quickly you reply to the proof, and how many color modifications you request (color changes will take 1-2 business day to complete).
RUSH orders
We offer the option of placing rush orders, some of our portraits can be done in as fast as 2 business days. If you need to have your artwork ready for a specific date please contact us and let us know the exact date, we will then let you know the rush fees involved. When placing a rush order you will pay a rush design fee to speed up the design process of your proof. Usually rush order fees are $55 or 18% of the total of the order before shipping, whichever is larger. Depending on how soon you need to receive the artwork by you may or may not have to add a rush shipping fee.

10. Do you work with professional photographers?
We have a program and wholesale pricing for professional photographers. Please email us with samples of your work, your EIN or your website so we can verify you are a professional photographer (that you make money as a photographer) and we will email you the specifics on our wholesale pricing and marketing support we offer.

Yes, we have professional photographer pricing and we also have special pricing for retailers. Please email us with proof of your professional status and we will be glad to send you details on wholesale pricing and the marketing support we offer.
