What is a Magic Portrait?
A Magic Portrait is a studio quality artistic portrait that combines the subject or subjects from your digital photo with one of our copyrighted imaginative backgrounds. The resulting professional high-resolution portrait is a perfect product for any photography business and will wow your customers and distinguish you from your competition.

How is a Magic Portrait made?
After we receive your order with the uploaded photo and selected background, a highly trained digital artist from our production team will use 20+ steps of photo-editing techniques and digital enhancements to complete your Magic Portrait. First, the artist precisely removes the subject in your photo and “composites” him/her into your selected Magic Portrait background. Then shadows and reflections are carefully rendered, aberrations and visual “noise” from your photo are removed, lighting and color balancing are completed and studio lens effects are added. The result is a studio-quality portrait that can be used to create prints, photo gifts etc.

How long does it take to get my Magic Portrait?
Within just 48 hours of placing your order, you will receive an email notification that your Magic Portrait is ready. You will then log back into your account and download your finished portrait. You can then send it on to your preferred lab or if you do your own printing it’s ready to print.

Do you offer a guarantee?
Your complete satisfaction is important to us. If we don’t get it right, we’ll rework it until we do get it right, period.

Can you flip my image so it will fit the background?
Yes, our trained digital artists can flip the image of the subject. We encourage you to review recommended poses for the background you have selected.

What should I know about the photo I upload for my Magic Portrait?
You should be aware of what “pose” works best for each magical background. Each background page includes “Best poses” recommendations as well as a “before and after” of the sample Magic Portrait.

Are there any restrictions on using and reselling a Magic Portrait?
Magic portraits are for working photographers who make money selling portraits to customers. They can be sold and resold to the photographer’s customers and used in print or web-based advertising for the photographer’s business. A Magic Portrait CAN NOT be resold to stock photo companies, or a publishing companies of any sort. Magic Portraits are specifically for resale to a photographer’s or studio’s retail customers.

Are the backgrounds appropriate for pets?
We know that pets are special members of the family. Most backgrounds are also good for pets or owners and pets together (see Dolphin Stairs) for example).
